Allowances for books and supplies, transportation and living expenses are also built in.
Next, we subtract your Student Aid Index (SAI). Your SAI is determinedusing a formulaestablishedby lawthat takes into consideration your family income, assets, and number in the family size. In other words, your SAI is determined by the information you provide on your FAFSA.
Then, we subtract the assistance you are expected to receive from ALL sources.
