Also, get involved with your unit and hospital-wide committees and community service. It鈥檚 a great way to have your voice heard and to give back.鈥�

Each year theOrganization of Student Social Workers partners with social safety net providers in St. Joseph to organize the Walk for the Homeless. The event brings attention to social services available to meet regional needs and raise money to be used to assistin obtainingbirth certificates, ID鈥檚, and transportation.

Passionate about volunteerism, Roger has used his service to the community to create exceptional applied learning pathways. While volunteering at the St. Joseph Museum, he was able to nurture a working relationship that led to a paid internship. He continues to volunteer as often as possible for an array of causes and uses his knowledge and experience from his coursework in digital animation and art to benefit the regional community.
