Non-degree seeking students are granted admission to ´óÏó´«Ã½ after a review of their academic transcripts, test scores and/or other necessary admission documents are received.

The following is needed to grant admission (based on student type).

Students who are attending another college or university and wish to take courses at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Western and then transfer the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Westerncoursework to the parent institution for degree applicability must provide the following:

  • Completed
  • Unofficial transcript or etter of Good Standing from the parent institution which reflects the student is academically eligible

  • Students currently enrolled in high school who are seeking admittance to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Westernon a part-time basis concurrent with their high school attendance must provide the following:
    • Completed
    • Letter of permission from the high school counselor or principal (required each semester prior to enrollment)

Students seeking to enroll in courses at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Western for selfenrichment purposes (non-degree seeking) must provide the following:

  • Completed

Persons 65 years of age or older may register for undergraduate courses without payment of tuition but may be subject to fees and other expenses. Senior Citizen students must dothe following:

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Students admitted under this category who later decide to seek a degree at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Westernmust reapply for admissionand provide all necessary admissions documents. However, astudent will NOTbe permitted to switch to a non-degree seeking status to avoid penalties imposed by the University.

No. Students under suspension are ineligible to be admitted under this category.

Yes. All applicable credits earned as a non-degree seeking student may be applied towards graduation should you change to a degree-seeking student.

No. Students who apply and are admitted as a non-degree seeking student are not eligible for financial assistance through the University.
