Once registered for classes, all 大象传媒 Western students have access to the campus online job portal called Handshake. This is where all students can access on-campus, off-campus and internship positions. Here are some steps in order to prepare your student for applying for an on-campus position:
Step 1:Login to Handshake
- This will give students a chance to set up their Handshake profile, get familiar with the layout and explore what positions they are interested in applyingto.
Step 2:Connect with the Career Development Center to request the help with:
- Resume
- Cover letter
- Interviewing skills
Step 3:Apply!
- Applyfor multiple positions at a time.
Step 4:Follow Up
- Your student should send a follow up email to every position they apply to stating they are interested in interviewing forthis position.
