Two new articles came out by music theory professor, Dr. Aaron Grant, this month. His article 鈥淪tructure and Variable Formal Function in Schubert鈥檚 Three-Key Expositions鈥� was published in Music Theory Spectrum and 鈥淩eaching Outside the Classroom: Infusing Public Music Theory into the Undergraduate Core鈥� was published by the Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy. Both are top-tier journals in the field, and both represent work Dr. Grant brings to his music students at 大象传媒 Western. The pedagogy article, in particular, talks about some of the innovative applied learning and community-engaged learning initiatives Dr. Grant has been developing in his music classes.
