Blum Union Program Funding Opportunity\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you for your interest in the Blum Union Program Funds. All FY19 funds have been allocated. Please check back in July 2019 for fund availability for FY20.<\/em><\/p>\n

Additional Sources of Funding\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Student Organizations may ask for program co-sponsorship, travel funds, and \/ or supplies through the Student Government Financial Oversight Committee.\u00a0 You can find more information on their\u00a0website: https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/student-life\/student-government-association\/funding\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Student Organizations qualify for up to $200 in Aramark funding. This funding can be used once per year and is available until all funds are depleted.\u00a0 To request funding, check the box on the University\u2019s room reservation form, or contact Isaiah Collier at\u00a0collier@missouriwestern.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Blake K. Scanlon Applied Learning Presentation Grant is for\u00a0students presenting refereed papers (or refereed poster sessions) or exhibiting juried works (or making juried performances) in\u00a0national and international professional venues. The funds can be used to cover travel, lodging, and meal expenses associated with the travel. Up to $1000 may be awarded.\u00a0\u00a0https:\/\/foundation.missouriwestern.edu\/blake-scanlon\/<\/a><\/p>\n

The Applied Learning Fund is a source of financial assistance provided for ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Western students through the MWSU Foundation. This fund reimburses students for expenses incurred while presenting research and creative endeavors, participating in conferences, or other forms of applied learning. Funding is limited and will be awarded based upon availability. In order to apply, please complete the application linked below and submit your materials via email. https:\/\/foundation.missouriwestern.edu\/applied-learning-fund\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Many student unions are susceptible to being renovated over time and end up becoming confusing places. Over time they experience poorly matched spaces with functions and miss-matched finishes and quality of materials. We seek to address this is through a facility master plan that can guide smaller renovations to be completed within a broader design thereby allowing for financial flexibility while not losing sight of the main goals and objectives the building is trying to serve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
