When Chastity McCourt started at ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Western she had some personal trials that challenged her and made college difficult. Then, one February her mother passed away. βIt was the hardest thing Iβd ever had to do β making medial and then burial decisions when I had no income, no support.β With nowhere to turn, she reached out to our on-campus Counseling Center. They supported her in a time when she thought she had no support. βIt was at that time I decided social work is where my heart is. I want people to know about the resources and supportive people out there.β
