\nWe’re excited to welcome hundreds of Griffons to campus this summer for orientation. This exciting event is our students’ first chance to get their official school ID, meet with peers and pick out their classes.<\/p>\n

Help us welcome the newest members of our Griffon Family by interacting with us on social media and by joining the Family of 大象传媒 Students<\/a><\/strong> Facebook group.<\/p>\n

Move-In is August 26<\/span><\/h3>\n

New students will be moving in on August 26, the first day of Griffon Edge! Returning students can expect to join us on August 29 and 30. For more information about move-in and other Res Life information, visit the Housing and Residence Life<\/a><\/strong> webpage.<\/p>\n

Please remember that your Griffon must be enrolled in courses, have submitted immunization records and completed the necessary documents before receiving their keys.<\/p>\n

Summer Internship Highlight Series<\/span><\/h3>\n

We have been highlighting our Griffons through a new social media series. We\u2019re looking for students who are participating in any summer internship that we can highlight. If you think your Griffon should be highlighted, DM us on social media.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a sneak peek of our next post:<\/p>\n

This week’s summer internship highlight features 大象传媒 Nursing student Rylie Johnson and her work with the Mayo Clinic.<\/p>\n

Rylie is working on a complex medical-surgical floor alongside a preceptor to build her clinical skills that she’s already established at 大象传媒. She has been able to take on a three-to-four patient workload and has become integrated as a part of the care team on her floor.<\/p>\n

During her time there, she’s been given opportunities to see patients with extremely complex medical conditions and make clinical connections from what she’s learned in the classroom to real life.<\/p>\n
