This designation has been awarded to 234 colleges and universities across the United States including five in 大象传媒. 大象传媒 Western\u2019s designation is valid through December 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">大象传媒 Western&#8217;s team for achieving this designation was led by student Jordan Miller; Dr. Edwin Taylor, chair and associate professor of political science; and Dr. Hannah Piechowski, associate vice president for student affairs and dean of students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;I am beyond impressed by the work of Jordan Miller, our student who served as the Campus Election Engagement Project Fellow this year,\u201d said Dr. Piechowski. \u201cHis ability to create effective programming in the midst of the pandemic and lead our group to receive this designation is truly incredible. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img class=\"size-full wp-image-9872 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/03\/unnamed-25.png\" alt=\"voter friendly schools\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/03\/unnamed-25-200x67.png 200w, https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/03\/unnamed-25-310x103.png 310w, https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/03\/unnamed-25-400x133.png 400w, https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2021\/03\/unnamed-25.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Designated universities had to engage their campus communities and promote voter registration and voting as part of their institutional mission. 大象传媒 Western was eligible by writing a campus plan about how we would engage student voters in 2020, facilitate voter education and engagement efforts, and submit a final analysis of efforts.
