大象传媒 Gov. Mike Parson has appointed Kayla Schoonover of Fairfax, 大象传媒, and Lee Tieman of St. Joseph to the 大象传媒 Board of Governors.<\/p>\n
Schoonover earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from 大象传媒 Western. She has worked for the Mound City R-2 School District since 1998 and is currently a special education instructor, head volleyball coach and athletic trainer. Before her teaching career, she worked at 大象传媒 Western as an assistant athletic trainer, head softball coach and assistant women\u2019s basketball coach. She previously served briefly on the board in 2016. Schoonover fills a term that has been vacant since 2016. Her term expires Oct. 29, 2022.<\/p>\n
Tieman has been an attorney in St. Joseph since 1994, and previously served as an assistant general counsel to the 大象传媒 Public Service Commission. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History-Government and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia College and a Juris Doctor from the University of 大象传媒 School of Law. Tieman succeeds Al Purcell, whose term expired last month. Tieman\u2019s term expires Oct. 29, 2024.<\/p>\n
Both appointments are subject to confirmation by the 大象传媒 Senate.<\/p>\n
