Dr. Ingrid Luffman<\/p><\/div>\n

A geographer from East Tennessee State University will present a talk titled \u201cImproving Public Health and Driving Economic Development Through Watershed Restoration\u201d at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 in Agenstein Hall, room 124, on the campus of 大象传媒. The talk by Dr. Ingrid Luffman, part of The Interdisciplinary Nature of Geography Speaker Series, is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

Dr. Luffman is an assistant professor and graduate coordinator in geosciences at East Tennessee State. She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in mathematics-science and a master\u2019s degree in earth sciences from the University of Ottawa in Canada and a doctorate in geography from the University of Tennessee. She has served as vice president of the Boone Watershed Partnership in Tennessee, a partnership between citizens, municipalities, agencies and the university to identify and address water resource issues.<\/p>\n
