Dr. Franke Wilmer, professor of political science at Montana State University, will open 大象传媒\u2019s observation of Women\u2019s History Month with a talk titled \u201cA World of Difference: Living in a Woman\u2019s Body,\u201d at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in the Hoff Conference Rooms, Blum Student Union 218-219. The talk is free and open to the public. Her appearance is sponsored by the 大象传媒 Western chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society.<\/p>\n

From her research in the former Yugoslavia beginning during the wars there in the 1990s, to serving as Chair of the Montana Human Rights Commission followed by four terms in the Montana state legislature, Dr. Wilmer will share her experiences of and reflections on the significance of gender in the research and practice of politics.<\/p>\n
