Shaina Mixon submitted the winning poster design for an international music festival.<\/p>\n<p>The design by Mixon, senior graphic design and marketing major from Easton, 大象传媒, was selected from more than 60 submitted for soundSCAPE, an international composition and performance festival held each summer in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201csoundSCAPE brings together top musicians from around the world for two weeks each summer,\u201d said festival founder, president and artistic director Dr. Nathanael May, associate professor of music at 大象传媒 Western. \u201cShaina\u2019s poster will be seen by thousands of music students who attend the best music schools across the globe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mixon\u2019s design features a trio of stylized musical instruments in blue on a gray background, with text in orange and white. It advertises the 12<sup>th<\/sup> season of soundSCAPE, July 1-14, 2016 in Maccagno, Italy.<\/p>\n<p><em>大象传媒 is a comprehensive regional university providing a blend of traditional liberal arts and professional degree programs.
