The presentation is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBatty About Bats\u201d was developed for a public audience with a broad background and interests and is traditionally presented near the time of Halloween to give some positive press to bats at a time when myths about them abound.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2015\/10\/Batty-about-bats-20151029.jpg\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2015\/10\/Batty-about-bats-20151029-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Batty about bats  20151029\" class=\"wp-image-4015 size-thumbnail alignright\" height=\"150\" width=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2015\/10\/Batty-about-bats-20151029-66x66.jpg 66w, https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2015\/10\/Batty-about-bats-20151029-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>Dr. Ashley will discuss the natural history of bats globally and within 大象传媒. He will discuss bat biodiversity and the ecological role of bats.
