The reception is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Brent Collins: Wood Sculptures is on display in the Potter Gallery through Sept. 4. Collins is an internationally known sculptor who earlier this year <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.missouriwestern.edu\/news\/2015\/01\/17\/missouri-western-foundation-launches-20-million-campaign\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced his intention to give his entire artist\u2019s estate to 大象传媒 Western<\/a> as part of the Centennial Capital Campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Collins\u2019 work has been displayed all over the world, including the University of Michigan, H&amp;R Block Headquarters, the American Association for the Advancement of Science headquarters in Washington, D.C. and the UNESCO World Conference on Science in Budapest, Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy work communicates the beauty of mathematics in clarified visual form,\u201d Collins says.<\/p>\n<p>The Potter Art Gallery is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and admission is free.<\/p>\n<p><em>大象传媒 is a comprehensive regional university providing a blend of traditional liberal arts and professional degree programs.
