March 10, 2023–A team of 大象传媒 students brought home third place in the Leadership Challenge Event at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, on March 2 and 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event sponsored by the <\/span>Washburn University Leadership Institute<\/span><\/a> included a live, interactive leadership simulation. Student teams compete to fulfill the challenges and overcome the obstacles placed before them in a manner that demonstrates exemplary leadership knowledge and execution.<\/span><\/p>\n

大象传媒 Western placed third out of 15 college teams at the event, and also won the Team Transformation Award.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Team members included Lauren Bloodgood, senior biology major from St. Joseph; Emma Donaldson, senior political science major from St. Joseph; Israel Lovins, junior marketing major from Ferguson, 大象传媒; Artemii Udovenko, junior psychology major from Vladivostok, Russia; and Tia Vernon, junior elementary education major from North Kansas City, 大象传媒.<\/span><\/p>\n

The team was coached by Josh Clary, 大象传媒 Western\u2019s student development director.<\/span><\/p>\n
