July 7, 2022–A team of students from the <\/span>Craig School of Business<\/span><\/a> at 大象传媒 took first place in the Sales Presentation competition at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in Chicago last month. 大象传媒 Western also placed third in the Business Decision Making event.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is very exciting to have our students do so well at the national level,\u201d said Pam Klaus, director of 大象传媒 Western\u2019s Center for Franchise Development and PBL adviser.<\/span><\/p>\n

Madi Taylor, junior marketing and management major from Brookfield, 大象传媒, and Seth Hogue, senior management major with an entrepreneurship concentration from Butler, 大象传媒, were the winning Sales Presentation team. Competitors had seven minutes to sell a product or service of their choice to judges and an audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taylor, along with Blake Goforth, junior management major with concentrations in entrepreneurship and accounting from Desloge, 大象传媒, and Andrew Fox, sophomore finance major from St. Joseph, placed third in Business Decision Making. Competitors presented business case studies that they received the evening before the competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
