annual Faculty and Staff Awards and Retiree Reception on April 21.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Awards presented include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Outstanding Academic Advisor<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Dr. Jennifer Jackson, associate professor, Communication<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">大象传媒 recognizes academic advising to be a critical component of the educational experience. Mehl Award for Outstanding Faculty Scholarship<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Dr. Corey White, associate professor, Psychology<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Named in honor of a long-time faculty member and chair of what was then the Department of Communication Studies, Theatre and Humanities, this award honors a full-time faculty member who demonstrates unusually significant and meritorious achievement in professional scholarship.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>大象传媒 Western Foundation Dr. James J.
