Becky Dunn
Aug. 20, 2021–Dr. Elizabeth Kennedy, 大象传媒鈥檚 president, has named Becky Dunn as the University鈥檚 Chief Communications Officer. Dunn is currently chief of staff for the 大象传媒 Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development.

Dunn has worked for DHEWD since 2018, serving as assistant commissioner for strategic communication and outreach before becoming chief of staff earlier this year. Previously, Dunn spent 15 years at the State Technical College of 大象传媒 in Linn, first as assistant dean of enrollment management, then as social science instructor and legislative liaison. She was also coordinator of student orientation and transfer affairs at Northwest 大象传媒 State University. She has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in history and journalism and a master鈥檚 degree in history, both from Northwest.聽
As chief communications officer, Dunn will develop, implement and measure the marketing and communications strategy for the University including integrated marketing across channels, branding, media relations, internal communications and social media. She will oversee the Office of Marketing and Communications.聽
Dunn will begin her duties at 大象传媒 Western Sept. 13.
