July 13, 2020–大象传媒鈥檚 graduate program in cybersecurity is now offered both online and in person. Applications are currently being accepted for the fall 2020 semester.

鈥淐ybersecurity professionals are in high demand, filling a critical need in today鈥檚 dynamic technical landscape,鈥 said Yipkei Kwok, program director of the cybersecurity program. 鈥淭hey develop new ways to protect data, companies and technical infrastructure from cyber threats and are the main line of defense for protecting organizations in every industry.鈥

大象传媒 Western鈥檚 program provides a broad technical understanding of current and evolving technologies with an emphasis on organizational needs, Kwok said. Managers and technology professionals gain a thorough knowledge base in the areas of design, development, implementation, operation and management of secure information systems and protection of information assets. Students learn to apply the principles of data protection, network security and computer forensics as well as the ethical, legal and policy issues associated with information security.

The addition of a completely online option makes 大象传媒 Western鈥檚 program even more convenient and flexible for working professionals seeking to advance their careers. A master鈥檚 degree can be completed in four semesters; a graduate certificate can be completed in two semesters.
