April 15, 2019鈥擶ayne Anderson, makeup effects artist and sculptor who has worked on the Netflix series 鈥淪tranger Things鈥 and numerous movies, will present an artist鈥檚 talk and demonstration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 24 in the Kemper Recital Hall inside Spratt Hall. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Anderson was a season four finalist on the SyFy show Face Off. In addition to serving as a key creature sculptor on several episodes of 鈥淪tranger Things,鈥 he has worked on the films 鈥淕hostbusters,鈥 鈥淚t,鈥 鈥淛urassic World: Fallen Kingdom,鈥 鈥淭he Predator,鈥 鈥淏right鈥 and next year鈥檚 鈥淎vatar 2.鈥
Anderson will talk about his work from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. From 9:30 to noon, he will provide a sculpting demonstration.
