April 9, 2019鈥擜 film shot by 大象传媒 students last summer has been selected for KC FilmFest International 2019 at Cinemark on the Plaza, 526 Nichols Road in Kansas City, 大象传媒. 鈥淭he Eclipse鈥� will be shown during the Block of Shorts: Sci-Fi at 9 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
Directed by Toby Lawrence, assistant professor of cinema, 鈥淭he Eclipse鈥� portrays a world where the ozone layer has been depleted and the power has gone out. A young woman, Kass, treks out into the burning sun to save her community.
