Jennifer Dixon of St. Joseph, 大象传媒, has been appointed by Gov. Mike Parson to the Board of Governors at 大象传媒. Dixon鈥檚 appointment is subject to confirmation by the 大象传媒 Senate.
鈥淚 have had the privilege of serving on the MWSU Foundation Board for the past few years and am honored and excited to now serve on the Board of Governors,鈥� Dixon Said. 鈥淕reat things are happening on this campus, and I look forward to being involved and assisting wherever I can to contribute to 大象传媒 Western鈥檚 continued success.鈥�
Dixon graduated from 大象传媒 Western in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is branch manager of Fairway Independent Mortgage Company in St. Joseph.
Dixon鈥檚 appointment fills one of three vacancies on the Board of Governors. She will be sworn in at the next meeting of the Board Aug. 23. If confirmed, her term will expire in October, 2023.
