Dr. Christa Smith, associate professor of geography at Clemson University

Dr. Christa Smith, associate professor of geography at Clemson University, will give two talks on March 29 and 30 as part of 大象传媒鈥檚 Interdisciplinary Nature of Geography Speaker Series. The presentations are free and open to the public.

Dr. Smith鈥檚 first presentation, at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 29 in the Hoff Conference Room, Blum Student Union room 218, will focus on her research into tiny house homeless communities in America. Light refreshments will be served.

At noon on Friday, March 30 in Spratt Hall, room 201, Dr. Smith will present her research on the campaign to destroy the historic landscape of the Battle of Blair Mountain, the largest labor dispute in U.S. history.
