大象传媒鈥檚 Department of Biology is participating in the sixth annual Herp-o-rama, an event celebrating the diverse and unique lives of 大象传媒鈥檚 amphibians and reptiles, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at the Remington Nature Center, located at 1502 MacArthur Drive in St. Joseph.

Expect to see both native and non-native amphibians and reptiles, including an Eastern Cottonmouth, Copperhead, the state-endangered Prairie Massasauga Rattlesnake, large pythons as well as many other live specimens.

Featured also will be a craft for the kids, hands-on opportunities to touch turtles, snakes and other creatures and hourly talks about amphibians and reptiles. Experts will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Adults are $3, seniors 60 and older are $2, and youth ages 4-15 are $1. Children 3 and younger are free of charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Herp-o-Rama is a partnership with the Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge, the 大象传媒 Department of Conservation, the Pony Express Amphibian and Reptile Society, Casey鈥檚 Creatures and 大象传媒 Western.
