The use of geography and mapping to study and solve crime will be the focus of the next talk in the Interdisciplinary Nature of Geography Speaker Series at 大象传媒. Dr. Steven Ericson, lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Alabama, will speak on 鈥淭heoretical and Practical Applications of GIS [geographic information systems] in Crime Research鈥 at noon Friday, April 22, in Spratt Hall, room 201.
The talk is free and open to the public. Attendees may bring their lunch to hear the speaker.
