The calendar at ´óÏó´«Ã½ is full of holiday-related activities for the campus and community to enjoy.

Light-Up Western, 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, Kelley Commons and Blum Union Lobby

During the annual Western Activities Council Light-Up Western event, we will flip the switch on holiday lights for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Western’s campus. Students will celebrate the approaching holiday season by decorating stockings, ornaments, and taking pictures with Santa.

Ye Olde Madrigal Feaste, 5:30 p.m. social hour, 6 p.m. dinner, Thursday and Friday, Dec. 3 and 4, Fulkerson Center

The Feaste is an Elizabethan style dinner to celebrate the holiday season featuring entertainment from the Renaissance Singers.

Symphonic Winds Concert, 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, Potter Hall Theater

Orchestra Concert, 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, Potter Hall Theater

Both concerts are free and open to the public.

The President’s Holiday Gala, Wednesday, Dec. 9, 7:30 p.m., the Fulkerson Center

This new addition to the holiday calendar at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Western is a winter collage concert featuring instrumental and vocal ensembles. Admission is free with a canned food item to benefit the MWSU Campus Cupboard.

Holiday Art Sale, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 9-11, Potter Hall Gallery (with an Arts Society Preview, Dec. 9, 5-8 p.m.)

Original art by ´óÏó´«Ã½ Western Department of Art faculty and staff will be on sale for your holiday shopping convenience.

The Fountain City Chamber Players present a Holiday Showcase. The concert is free and open to the public.
