Fred Weems played the guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument, during the 2014 Mid-Autumn Festival celebration.

The public is invited to a celebration of China鈥檚 Mid-Autumn Festival from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 in the Hoff Conferences Rooms, Blum Student Union rooms 218 and 219 at 大象传媒. The celebration is free and open to the public.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important celebrations on China鈥檚 calendar, second only to the Spring Festival in China. 大象传媒 Western鈥檚 celebration will include traditional Chinese games, poems and music. The special food of Mid-Autumn festival, including mooncake, will be served.

The Mid-Autumn Festival celebration is sponsored by the Office of International Student Services, the Division of Student Affairs, and the Department of English and Modern Languages.
