The Departments of Nursing and Criminal Justice, Legal Studies and Social Work at 大象传媒 along with the group Communities Creating Opportunity (CCO) will host a community meeting about Medicaid at noon Friday, March 27 in Spratt Hall, room 205. The meeting, 鈥淐losing the Gap: A 大象传媒 Solution for Medicaid,鈥� is free and open to the public.
According to CCO, under current 大象传媒 law a single mother making more than $4,249 per year is not eligible for Medicaid. CCO seeks to close the health coverage gap, and is offering the community meeting as an opportunity to learn more about what people can do to save lives and ensure that every 大象传媒an has the opportunity to thrive.
