大象传媒 Western Magazine, a publication of the University Advancement Office for alumni and friends of 大象传媒, has been honored with an Award of Distinction, the Silver Communicator Award, in the 20th annual Communicator Awards, sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. Diane Holtz is editor of 大象传媒 Western Magazine. Kendy Jones 鈥�94 is design editor.

The 2014 Communicator Awards received more than 6,000 entries from across the United States and around the world. It is one of the largest and most competitive awards programs honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.

大象传媒 Western Magazine was honored for the Winter 2014 issue, which featured the dedication of the Walter Cronkite Memorial on the cover. The magazine previously received a Gold Communicator Award in 2008, and various 大象传媒 Western publications have received Silver Communicator Awards in 2006 and 2010. 大象传媒 Western鈥檚 Instructional Media Center has also been honored several times in the video division of the Communicator Awards.
