The following checklist is for military connected students already admitted and enrolling at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Western.

STEP 1: Enroll at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Western

Send all final transcripts to theOffice of Admissions, ensuring successful completion of all conditions noted in the admissions letter.


Students cannot register for courses until the university receives proof of immunization history.


Explore financial assistance. All degree seeking students can apply for financial aid by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (). Aid includes need-based scholarships, grants, and loans. Additional information may be obtained through theOffice of Financial Aid.

STEP 2: Meet with the School Certifying Official

All student veterans must visit theSchool Certifying Officialto file required paperwork to receive VA Education Benefits. Failure to do so may cause a delay in the process of claiming benefits.

STEP 3: Get connected and explore resources

Connect with other student veterans through. This a student organization dedicated to help fellow collegiate veterans in the transition from military to college life. You can also.


TheNontraditional and Commuter Student Centeris located in Eder 200. It is a designated location on campus for student veterans to study, meet with other veterans or nontraditional students to spend time with and support each other in a fun and relaxing space.
