Wayne <\/strong>Chandlee \u201961 <\/strong>presented Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse with his award for NBA Coach of the Year. Wayne was Nick\u2019s high school basketball coach, and coached the Raptors in their pre-season camp in Vancouver last year.<\/p>\n Dr. Greg Seals \u201978<\/strong>, associate professor at College of Staten Island\/ City University of New York, was awarded the 2020 John Dewey Society Outstanding Achievement Award for his book \u201cTeachable Moments and the Science of Education\u2019\u2019 (Routledge, 2019).<\/p>\n James Bryan \u201991 <\/strong>was recently appointed as the Chief of Police in Bentley, Kansas.<\/p>\n Lt. Col. Jason Horn \u201995 <\/strong>was promoted to Commander of the Medical Group of the 139th Airlift Wing of the Air National Guard, St. Joseph, 大象传媒.<\/p>\n Autumn (Greear) Haeker <\/strong>\u201908 <\/strong>was elected president of the Mesilla Valley Concert Band in Las Cruces,\u00a0New Mexico. Autumn and her husband David have been members since 2010. The Mesilla Valley Concert Band has been in existence since 1987 and is one\u00a0of the premier concert bands in the state.<\/p>\n Traci (Haug) Howell \u201908 <\/strong>has published two children\u2019s books, \u201cGus\u2019 Big Adventure\u201d and \u201cRudy.\u201d She is also currently expanding her virtual assistant business, Victory Assistants, found at victoryassistants.com.<\/p>\n Brittnie <\/strong>Morgan \u201915 <\/strong>was recognized in the St. Joseph News-Press 20 Who Count: 2020 for her work when the south side\u00a0of St. Joseph experienced flooding last summer. U.S. Navy <\/strong>Commander <\/strong>Derek <\/strong>Ashlock <\/strong>\u201988 <\/strong>assumed command of Fighter Squadron\u00a0One One One (VFC-111) on Nov. 13, 2020 at a ceremony at Naval Air Station Key West, Florida.\u00a0Commander Ashlock is a graduate of the Naval Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) Adversary class and\u00a0has been awarded the Air Medal for combat operations as well as numerous other personal and unit awards. He is married to Susan (Janorschke) Ashlock \u201986 and they have one son.<\/p>\n1990s<\/h2>\n
Brian Mills \u201993<\/strong>, a certified hand therapist at the University of Kansas Health System, began\u00a0serving as president of the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association in April 2019. He is married to Melissa (Velasquez) Mills \u201996, and one of their three children currently attends 大象传媒 Western.<\/p>\n2000s<\/h2>\n
Laura <\/strong>(Williams) <\/strong>Tyler<\/strong> \u201907 <\/strong>successfully defended her dissertation in November. Her qualitative study examined how student trauma affects educators, specifically the secondary traumatic stress that results.<\/p>\n2010s<\/h2>\n
