A master\u2019s program that combines nursing and business for nurses who want advance their healthcare careers will begin this fall. A joint Master of Science in Nursing in Health Care Leadership\/Master of Business Administration degree can be earned with 47 credit hours \u2013 26 nursing credits and 21 business credits.<\/p>\n
The MSN courses will be offered in face-to-face, blended and online learning formats, while the MBA courses will be offered face-to-face and online. Students will also have the option to go part- or full-time.<\/p>\n
The program is designed to develop leadership abilities in promoting professional practice, creating effective work environments, fostering evidence-based practice, application of informatics in decision making, leading and developing teams, effective resource management, and more.<\/p>\n
