Yuriy Litvinski
Yuriy Litvinski was named the new head coach of men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country and track & field teams in July 2018. He had been the assistant at Idaho State University, an NCAA Division I school since 2016 and women鈥檚 assistant coach at Angelo State University in Texas.
Litvinski directed meet management in addition to coaching sprints and horizontal jumps, and assisting pole vaulters. In 2017, nine of the athletes he coached turned in Big Sky All-conference performances.
He was a three-time national qualifier in the triple jump at University of Northern Iowa (Div. I) and took fourth at the national event in 2006. He was also a six-time national champion in his native Bulgaria. Litvinski earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree from UNI and a master鈥檚 from University of Central 大象传媒.
