Jacob wanted to get involved, so he revived a student organization associated with his career field.

Jacob Metzinger came to ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Western to study Construction Engineering Technology.

β€œI love it here. The University works with students to make sure we get a well-rounded education,” he said.

Jacob wanted to get involved, so he revived a student organization associated with his career field – the Associated General Contractors of ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½. Because of his experience with AGC, Jacob started networking while still a student.

β€œIt’s a great way to meet professionals who can help me with my job search when I graduate,” relates Jacob. β€œAs the Vice President of AGC, I have spoken with several companies in my degree field, as well as built relationships with other students and professors in the Department of Engineering Technology.”

΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Western gives students like Jacob the chance to learn and get involved to achieve their goals.
