His last day at 大象传媒 Western will be July 11.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;margin: 10.5pt 0in 10.5pt 0in\">Pickman has been at 大象传媒 Western since 2004, serving as director of development before assuming his current position in 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;margin: 10.5pt 0in 10.5pt 0in\">\u201cAs an alum and now an employee for 15 years, I know firsthand the powerful positive impact 大象传媒 Western has on the community,\u201d Pickman said. \u201cIt truly is a special place, and while it\u2019s hard to leave, I\u2019m excited at the opportunity to work for another organization that does a tremendous amount of good in our region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;margin: 10.5pt 0in 10.5pt 0in\">Since he began his career at 大象传媒 Western, Pickman has helped raise funds for many renovation and construction projects and guided the University\u2019s Centennial Capital Campaign. Since 2015, the campaign has raised more than $30 million for endowments, facilities and programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;margin: 10.5pt 0in 10.5pt 0in\">Pickman graduated with a Bachelor of Science from 大象传媒 Western and earned an Executive MBA from Benedictine College in 2001. He received a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Fund Raising School at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University in 2006 and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;margin: 10.5pt 0in 10.5pt 0in\">A national search for Pickman\u2019s successor began immediately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jerry Pickman &#8217;85, vice president for university advancement and executive director of the 大象传媒 Foundation, has accepted a position as vice president of philanthropy operations at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
