Looney Complex. The commencement speaker will be Dr. Daniel Shepherd, chair and associate professor of education. The ceremony is free and open to the public. For those unable to attend, it will be streamed live online at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/griff.vn\/fa18grad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">griff.vn\/fa18grad<\/a>.\u00a0大象传媒 Western anticipates nearly 300 students to earn their degree this semester.<\/p>\n<p>The Alumni Association will host a free reception for graduates and their families after the ceremony in the Looney small gym.<\/p>\n<p>Other commencement-related activities include:<\/p>\n<p><b>International Student Farewell &amp; Sash Ceremony, 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, Enright Community Room, Spratt 214-216<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Graduating international students will be presented with a sash from their country of citizenship as a gift from 大象传媒 Western. It will be streamed live on the International Center\u2019s Facebook page,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mwsuinternational\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">facebook.com\/mwsuinternational<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Graduate Hooding Ceremony, 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, Fulkerson Center<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Students receiving their master\u2019s degrees will receive their academic hoods in a special ceremony. The hooding ceremony will be broadcast live at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/griff.vn\/fa18hood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">griff.vn\/fa18hood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Nursing Pinning Ceremony, 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, Fulkerson Center<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Nursing graduates will receive pins symbolic of their chosen profession.
