Two new articles came out by music theory professor, Dr. Aaron Grant, this month. His article \u201cStructure and Variable Formal Function in Schubert\u2019s Three-Key Expositions\u201d was published in Music Theory Spectrum and \u201cReaching Outside the Classroom: Infusing Public Music Theory into the Undergraduate Core\u201d was published by the Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy. Both are top-tier journals in the field, and both represent work Dr. Grant brings to his music students at ΄σΟσ΄«Γ½ Western. The pedagogy article, in particular, talks about some of the innovative applied learning and community-engaged learning initiatives Dr. Grant has been developing in his music classes.
